10mg Onsior Tablets for Dogs

Onsior 10mg for Dogs are round, beige to brown tablets. They are flavoured to ensure easy administration, with most dogs readily accepting them. The tablets should not be divided or broken and are best administered without food or at least 30 minutes before or after a meal for optimal efficacy.
The recommended dose of Onsior is 1mg/kg body weight, with a range of 1-2 mg/kg. A clinical response is typically seen within a week. If no improvement is apparent after 10 days, treatment should be discontinued. For long-term treatment, once a clinical response has been observed, the dose of Onsior can be adjusted to the lowest effective individual dose, as the degree of pain and inflammation associated with chronic osteoarthritis may vary over time. Regular monitoring by a veterinarian is recommended.
10mg Onsior Tablets are generally well-tolerated by dogs. However, as with any medication, there can be side effects. The most common ones include gastrointestinal events such as vomiting and soft faeces. In most cases, these are mild and resolve without treatment.
