Xeno 450 Spon-on prevents and treats common internal (worms) and external parasites (mites) of rabbits, guinea pigs and ferrets.
XENO 450 is only for use on rabbits, guinea pigs and ferrets. Do not use in animals other than those indicated.
Serious reactions including deaths have been reported in dogs (especially Collies, Old English Sheepdogs and related breeds), tortoises and turtles treated with the active substance. Method of administration Holding the pipette firmly in one hand, twist off the cap. Apply 1 tube (450 micrograms) per kg bodyweight onto the skin on the back of the neck and down the spine. SPECIES BODYWEIGHT AMOUNT TO USE Guinea Pigs 800g to 1.2kg 1 tube Ferrets 800g to 1.5kg 1 tube Small or dwarf rabbits Up to 1.5kg 1 tube Medium rabbits 1.5kg to 3kg 2 tubes Large rabbits Over 3kg 3 tubes For routine prevention of common ectoparasites this dose should be repeated monthly. For the treatment of an existing infestation, repeat doses are required two weeks and four weeks after the initial application. Special warnings for each target species Do not overdose.
