Trusopt Eye Drops for Dogs
Trusopt Eye Drops contain dorzolamide as the active ingredient which acts directly on the eye by reducing pressure. Dorzolamide also has some anti-inflammatory action which may be useful in some cases of glaucoma.
Trusopt is used in adult dogs with glaucoma, when treatment with a beta-blocker eye drop on its own has not lowered the pressure in the eye sufficiently. If your dog's eye pressure is too high and conventional treatments and other medications are not working well enough, your vet may prescribe Trusopt Eye Drops.
